I feel it better to start a thread in the Projects section on my latest acquisition.
Repeats a little of what I have said in "Introductions" so forgive me for that.
Being collected tomorrow

More details and pictures in next few days.

Looks nice and pretty straight to, just a little tlc, well done.

Thanks for your message.
We will see how much TLC needed over the next few days.

Van now residing on my drive.
Hopefully tomorrow I can take more pictures and maybe decide what upgrades or work needs doing.

Oval plate detail
How do I get the paint colour code from here?DSC08847.JPG

Yes I had gathered that from reading bits on the Forum. But "should" is "not"

Did a check this morning on the engine plate.
markings are;-
B BS070
P L3790
I will now check what that means hopefully!!

Very little been happening over weekend with heavy rain and family commitments.
Removed rear bumper PO had made up as original damaged.
Needs a little work on it. What colour were these bumpers originally?
Also took me for ever to release the spare wheel under the car. Got there with much Plusgas and time!

A little bit done today.
I had puchased replacement +ve and -ve terminals. Decided the earth wire needed some attention so decided to undo the connection. Please do not laugh as the bolt disappeared onto the tray under . I had assumed it was a stud. We live and learn!! Some Plusgas and the tray was removed. Had already removed the grille, so access was easy to replace the bolt and the earth connection. Will give the tray a clean up and some paint before it goes back on.
I have learnt something new.:)

667 probably. It was a wheels and bumper colour.

Looks a nice van. It doesn't seem rusty at all. Chassis good?

Thanks for possible colour.
Van underneath appears in good condition. I am planning to get it up in the air and have a good check soon.
Gradually will sort out the worse of the dents and small rust patches.

Stripped out the front grille, drilled out the rivets and looked at condition of headlights and rear covers. Plan to go from existing 45/40 to 60/55.
In doing all this, find the plate with the colour code on it. Need to go to Specsavers, I think, as did not see it there with headlight in place.DSC08903.JPG
