I recently found some old photos and documents relating to my father's first Renault 4. He bought it here in Denmark in 1962 and it was wrecked in an accident in the late 1960ies (no one got badly hurt!).
Seeing a photo of it (attached) I realised that it did not have the rear side window that I recall from our later R4s. So I suppose dad had to go for the cheap version
I wonder if anything meaningfull like a production date or place can be deducted from the material?
From the sales contract:
Chassis number was 3628.061
Engine number was 123.765
Model number was R 1120
Mark was "Renault 4"
Any insight would be welcome
