Hi all
I have a 1969 4 with really badly rusted door window frames. Is there a simple way of removing the frame and replacing it with plastic ones, front and rear.

The plastic ones fit. Trouble is removing the old ones as the screws will be rusted. If you remove the seal you will see the screw locations and can grind them out with an angle grinder without messing up the exterior paint. A bit of paint on the bare metal anjd plastic window frames can be popped in.

Do I need to glue in the plastic ones or try to preserve the screw holes?
Do I assemble with the glass in place?

The plastic frames go in with the glass in place and are seured to the frame with little metal clips.

Hi Malcolm many thanks. Yes it was not an easy job getting the old frames out or finding new plastic ones. I have now done both. However what are these clips used to fit the plastic frame?
