Hello all, I have a fully restored 1995 Renault TWINGO 1.2. and I know that I'm a complete noob in this forum. So I'm asking sorry in advance for any "stupid" quote I'll make, going forward.
My first query is:
Was it possible or not, in a standard factory 4L model, to fold down both the backrests of the front seat and the backrest of the rear seat about 90° and interlock them to create an almost flat, 180° "bed", with a final length equal to the total sum of the two seats plus the two respective backrests (approx. 170 cm)?
I have a strong conviction that the 4L was the First RENAULT to promote this capacity, and the strange memory, when I was a "lad", of seeing one somewhere with this "bed" pre-assembled.
Or am I, simply, suffering from some kind of Mandela Effect, and was it only when the TWINGO appeared that RENAULT finally launched a car with this possibility included?
If anyone could answer me, I would be grateful...and if anyone could provide me with an image (or a link to one) where this executed capability can be seen, I would be doubly grateful.
Thank you all for your consideration.
