    valve guides

Hey Salamander1209! Thanks for your upload! I must admit my Slovenian is a little rusty haha, but I studied the images a little. I believe they do not give the values for the wear of the valve guides. Thanks anyway for your effort, much appreciated!

    valve guides

Thanks! I couldn't find it anywhere either. There are some tutorials on youtube on how to measure whether or not the guides are worn, with some general values to observe, but that doesn't quite give me the peace of mind I'd enjoy haha. Well, then that'll have to make do!

    valve guides

Sorry to bump this old thread, but does anyone here know the values for valve guide clearance on the 1100 c1e engines? My Dutch workshop manual just says I should check if there's 'not too much wear' on them, which leaves me none the wiser.

Any idea where these go ?

To kick an old topic: These spacers of the steering rack have some funny thing to them. As in Petak's picture they are positioned with the cutaway facing upwards (thus the little "hook" facing downward), but it seems more logical with the cutaways facing downward. Does anybody know how they...

    1988 R4 F4 restoration made in France

Hahaha, I make fun of that all the time when driving my R4, talking about all those people driving "those old wrecks", saying I can't drive 30 km/h since my car won't run that slow etc. etc. I laugh a lot in my car :p

Inner rear wings both sides wanted

They don't exist! Maybe they were made back in the day as welding parts and very maybe, somewhere in a dusty old service garage there are two sitting around but I wouldn't go looking for them. The only sensible thing to do is to repair your current ones. There are welding strips available to...

    R4 restoration made in France

I was thinking of making a panel like that as well, the only problem is dat the back door doesn't have those holes in it, where you pop those clips in. I'm nog that fond of drilling new holes as I'm pretty much the "original" kind of guy haha. So I'd have to invent another way of attaching it.

    Rear door rubber bumpers...

Yes, they should be on your bootlid, they fall in those two cavities in your bootfloor. You bootlid has 2 holes for bolts on the underneath, that's where they should be attached. Don't have any spares (and live too far away anyway ;)).

    Boot rubber seal

It says it's an original part, which must mean the quality is like original! €22,50 isn't a bad price. My local dealer wants €35 for it and at Melun Retro Passion they cost €35 too...
