Thenay Photos

Great photos and really good to have met up with you all - only sorry we couldn't pull over to park and talk to Stuart Delahoy (will catch up in Leicester).

Very pleased with the car on it's first major run out for us, doing 1,400 miles during our 9 day French holiday.

Will get around to posting pictures on to Photobucket and post a link.

Only problem is we noticed a knocking near home, only to find today on removal of the chrome rear wheel trim that one of the wheel studs has sheared and the remainder of it with the nut was rattling about !!! Anyone know where we can source one from ?

Claire & Ian

Here are a couple of my photos. 'Twas nice meeting some of you :)

The R4L with the Maltese flag is obviously my dad's ;)

Yes, my fb profile :)

Cause it obviously left Malta by boat, to Genova, then was driven by the trailer to Farges-Allichamps, then we drove it to Blois, where we were staying. Then we had a 30km drive each way to Thenay everyday :)

Now the R4L is at a Renault Dealer in St. Maur, where it's waiting to get picked up by the same trailer to get it delivered back home!

Great photos everyone, it was wonderful to meet you all :D
I had a fantastic weekend all round, like several of you have said, it was good to stay until kicking-out time on Sunday - I got a chance to pick up some sweet bargains and have a better look at the cars once I'd figured out how the show works. Hugely looking forward to next year, I imagine it will be even better!

I've finally had a chance to go through my photos, here are a few of the best for your enjoyment...

Holiday Snaps

Couple of snaps from Thenay. More to follow once I have sifted through the rest...

Think we managed to get a photo of most from the Forum. Apologies to Reidalpine and Pepper, I think I missed the two of you, and to any others who aren't there too.

Just back home this evening from our french holidays, a 3600 km trip to thenay, paris, loir valley, then cote d'azur and back to Italy. Just some heating problem due to high temperature and low gear in uphill road (just in Italy and cote d'azur) and not to any car fault; my thermometer told it to me in time and just turned on the heating (sigh!), never lightened the frightening red light... I bought a 75°C thermostat, I think that it is the right choice for hot summers...
Very glad to met some of you, Pepper and his wife, Malcolm, Renoir Cigar, Clementine and Frederick... I hope to know more of you next year!
I see that Alessandro's R-quad liked you very much, and there's even my car in one of your photos!
Great adventure, even under the rain...

One more... Nice to see you, too! Even if I do not think I could recognize you... You're quite near to us, could even join us at some italian meeting...
