R4 TL restauration

A few months ago I bought myself a new car. A Renault 4 TL from '86. I was searching for a new restauration project and found this one on the internet. It was standing two years outside without a MOT. I picked her up and brought her to my home town, Groningen Netherlands. I have been busy with her since two months. I would like to share my progress here. This is my first full restauration project!

This weekend I tried my new Sodablaster from JWL, it works fantastic!

Fast Work ! And great work too ....you have great facilities ..a huge workshop so space to move around. Working in a single garage is challenging

Progress is slow, but nevertheless, some new pictures.
Outside fender spotwelded, will finish it next time

I missed have missed your reply back in December...... The penny has finally dropped there are several of you all in the same place. Man cave indeed and shared skill sets too!! How right you are it's SUPER cool. Shame it's coming to an end but must have been a huge spurt to help you all along the way

Sidepanel is welded in! Front and side lower edge is going to be spotwelder. Finally some days off, so I hope to make some progress this holiday!

Hi JonathanT, I'm afraid you are mistaking Jurgen with me (harbourseal) and my R4 cronies from the south.
We happen to be in an old bus workshop just like Jurgen and his friends.

Nonetheless, Jurgen you are doing a super job with your restoration.
