It looks a bit like an old form of early memory card indeed a sort of drum memory, though I still have some magnetic-core units.
Love those vintage bakelite 78rpm records and of course good quality 33 rpm record. In fact in terms of sound technical dynamic range, there is still nothing better than 78 and 33 rpm records.

It was a real uplift to work outside in the sunshine and chat to neighbours as they walked past. Mostly neighbours had to use the other side of the road as I've claimed this pavement for myself. I've got a lot of work to do inside and I'm planning to reinstate openers in the windows first so I can leave them wide open and continue talking to the neighbours.

Every time I shut the door on my Scimitar GTE (still being rebuilt) I get a similar covering of crud on the driveway beneath Some way to go for both of us I think
Currently rewiring headlights and replacing duct-tape-repaired petrol hoses

We still have a 240 yd2 mess...

But landscaping will start in a few weeks, starting with a 48 yd2 terrace, a large lawn and then we'll start thinking about what kind of trees, shrubs, flowers and plants. Sadly my wife still won't let me use my old gearbox housing as a nice rusty HA0 flower pot, but I'll dig it in the ground so a hydrangea will get nice blue flowers

That's already there Adam,
Here the self build garage which can house 2 complete R4's (L, TL or GTL) or just 1 R4 in full restoration like mine, the future terrace is still a mess like the garden in the previous picture.


And then there is the "drive" measuring 10 x 4 meters enough room for 4 more of our beloved cars, again still a mess and that beautiful botch rebar steel fence will be replaced with a time period correct cast iron one, complete with the rust we all love.

My garage is lower budget :-) I pulled the Renaults out today to fit a new roof on the car tent. The old roof blew off in the storms in February. It was hard work as the frame joints had rusted so I couldn't lower the frame. I'm going to be stiff tomorrow.



I'm tempted to leave most of the cars outside for now so the Rodeo is accessible. If it's a nice day and I'm in the mood for fiddling I might finish it.
