What have I done! (R4 GTL)

And now the fun begins!!! :) :) Can't wait for pictures !
You are right!

Torsion bars (front and rear) and right ground clearance is biggest nightmare in my head at the moment

NO Janko! Čvrkica will get up!
This was set up just so that i can move her around garage, and transport to the body guy.

After everything is in car and on their place then i will deal with torsions.

Some work that i have manage to do in last two-three weeks

Hi Petak, it is called "piping" in English, because it is like a small pipe. sometimes it is solid core, but you have hollow core. When they make things like suitcases, they can put a wire stiffener in the hollow part of the piping so that the suitcase keeps its shape.

Hvala doture!;)

Mojobaby: Thank you for English instruction....now i have found many adds at ebay....but it is easy when you know right name for part.

mojobaby: hope not.....plan is to be may every day car....wife can take renault laguna II, and i will be driving myself in R4

All the parts that you are putting in look new. Are they new or did you just clean them up. Perhaps electro plating on some parts and respray other parts?
For example, the spring on your rear door. Is that plated or sprayed silver?

All shiny metal parts that you see are old one.
They were not broken, just used for 20 and more years, dirty and little bit rusty.
First cleaned with electrolysis and then zink galvanized (electro plated with zink)
All door locks, rear door spring with hand, front bonnet lock, internal door handles.
That is why they look so shiny.

Black parts around engine bay and inside the car are additionally powder-coated
And bumpers are also powder-coated

very few parts are brand new.
I have 2 donor cars aside so using best part out of three.

Some insulation is put inside cabin!

Problem could be when i start to mount parts that goes under instrument panel so some places will be cut out so that all fits inside.

Also, on lover parts of insulation, in front of driver and passenger i plan to put some guarding foil ( tin adhesive foil that is used for car advertisements on vans) to prevent destroying insulation by throwing something on shelves, and accidental bums with boots

On "stil to do" list
