Windows, locks, bonnet on, now for bumper, lights, grill but 1st final flat polish, want to see myself clearly in the curve of front wing next time I take a photo.501C957B-10AB-4CBD-9EB4-36F18360CA94.jpegCE8E4DBF-ECE3-4FD3-AAF6-AA9586DDAA54.jpegAB674165-3D7D-43AF-A9F7-D1AB4E75DD46.jpeg7219CDB3-FF48-4488-A5B2-142D31226C03.jpegA842C12A-767C-4E18-8FAB-8087F14C4527.jpeg

Vans finally approaching booking an ITV date, classic insurance here in Spain is not as straightforward as it used to be, policy stipulations now require that you need another car under 20 years old insured in your name, not so straightforward if its your only car……but its done
Fuel sender had failed in the time since last post, changing that currently, dropped tank yesterday, new sender from pizasauto is the correct one but needs holes drilled for the three small nuts that clamp it into the tank itself (don't know if this is a fasa thing), bought 4 new tyre to go on, getting rears fitted today while vans up in the air for sender. then tracking, fronts changed and ITV. Will post photos of the van finally on the road hopefully in the coming weeks.
Not made for a 4 but the Ondine, Gordini, Dauphine FASA built Renault had these fitted, couldn’t resist as a final touch for the F6’s rear door, teaser for the finished van on road photos which are becoming closer at long last,IMG_0026.jpeg
As bought

Had a plug lead go open circuit on return journey, but where’s the adventure in perfect.
So out in the sun for a 1st time, decided on a name change for van, was mr. Magoo, in this photoIMG_0404.jpeg
But now I think because the VW crowd have ‘Cal look, retro Cal, Euro look, Ford et all have hot rod, fast Fords, pro street, pro mod etc for the Renault 4. ( or just mine, I don’t mind) with the bulldog on the grill and the fasa on its tail and whats been done in the middle I am claiming the ‘Spanglish look 4’ or ‘Espangles look 4’……IMG_0029.jpegIMG_0030.jpegIMG_0031.jpegIMG_0032.jpeg
