My renault 4 restoration

Because my original distributor was magnetti marelli, i bought cheap Ducellier clone , to convert it to electronic module

Engine block cleaned and painted, pistons cleaned, and i gave a gentle polish to the crankshaft :) nearly ready for assembly

Blimey, and I thought they were stubborn on my car. Well done Domsky. As it says in the Haynes manual, just hit the end of the torsion bar with a hide hammer, oh yes, really? :confused:

Presuming this car is LHD
I will mention the weber twin manifold sits very close to steering column I had to fit spacer under engine mounting on my Rodeo

It is LHD , thanks for advice
I wish i was at the stage when i worry about those things :D
 
Because the original cork gaskets usually don't last long before they leak , i got sump and chain cover gaskets made from best material available :)

The frame is finally painted , top with polycoat from novol, underneath with bed liner also from novol.
Now i need to wax all the cavities.
I also made little stand on wich i will be assembling the chassis.
